ShoeAI Custom App Installation in Shopify

If you signed up for automatic installation by the ShoeAI team of ShoeAI

ShoeAI utilizes "Custom Apps" on Shopify to deliver our services in your shop. To proceed with the integration, we will send you a Shopify collaborator access request.

We will request the following permissions:

  • Manage and install apps and channels
  • View Apps developed by staff and collaborators
    • Develop Apps
    • Enable app development
"Manage and install apps and channels" is required only because the Custom Apps section is contained within the overall Apps section, and we need it exclusively to access the Apps development.  Even with this permission, only the Store Owner can install and authorise paid apps.

Follow the steps below to grant us "custom app installation" manually for all the shops that will be using ShoeAI:
  1. Go to Settings in your Shopify admin dashboard.
  2. Select Users and permissions from the options.
  3. Locate and click on the ShoeSize.Me collaborator. (Make sure that you include the permission to create pages and for navigation).

The ShoeAI team should be able to read:

  • assigned fulfillment orders,
  • fulfillments,
  • orders,
  • payment terms,
  • shipping
  • returns

Also, please double-check that custom app development is enabled by following these steps for each of your shops:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click on Settings and then navigate to Apps and sales channels.
  2. Select Develop apps.
  3. Click on Allow custom app development.
  4. Take the time to read the warning and provided information, and then click on Allow custom app development.

 

Important: Please ensure that you grant permissions to all the stores where ShoeAI will be implemented. It is crucial to provide access to all relevant stores for seamless integration and functionality.
